What to Expect
At St. John’s Church, CNI – Berhampore, we believe church should feel like home—a place where everyone is welcomed, valued, and free to seek God without fear or formality. Whether you’re exploring the Christian faith for the first time, returning to church after a long time, or have been following Jesus for years, you are welcome here just as you are.
A Community of Grace
We are a diverse and growing community made up of people from all walks of life—young and old, lifelong believers and new seekers, those with questions and those with deep conviction. What unites us is our desire to follow Jesus Christ and to love our neighbors in word and action. You don’t need to have everything figured out to be part of this journey.
Worship with Meaning
Our Sunday worship is the heart of our life together. In every service, we come together to celebrate the goodness of God and the grace we’ve received through Jesus Christ.
You can expect a thoughtful and Scripture-rooted service that includes:
-
Uplifting songs and hymns (both traditional and contemporary)
-
Moments of prayer and confession
-
Scripture readings that connect God’s Word to our daily lives
-
A Christ-centered sermon or reflection
-
The celebration of the Holy Communion (open to all baptized believers)
It is our hope that worship not only inspires but also transforms, pointing us all—wherever we are in our faith journey—toward the hope of the Gospel.
Come as You Are
There’s no dress code or pressure to “look the part.” Wear what you feel comfortable in—some wear formal clothes, others dress casually. While there is no strict dress code, we kindly ask that clothing be modest, respectful, and appropriate for a place of worship. What matters most is that you come with an open heart.
We have worship services every Sunday—at 7.30 AM. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted warmly and given a worship guide to help you follow along with the order of service.
Whether you join us with questions, hopes, doubts, or praise, you’ll find a space that welcomes honest faith, deep reflection, and joyful fellowship.
